About this Speaker
Jason Romney has worked as a Sound Designer for Children’s Theatre of Charlotte, Lyric Repertory Company, Florida Studio Theatre, Imagination Stage, No Rules Theatre, Piedmont Opera, Hot Summer Nights at the Kennedy, Playmakers Rep, Elon University, Ravinia Festival, Triad Stage, Alliance Theatre, Weston Playhouse, Utah Festival Opera, and others. He is a Professor of Sound Design at the University of North Carolina School of the Arts where he serves as the Director of the BFA and MFA Sound Design Program and as an Assistant Dean of the School of Design and Production. His book "Digital Sound and Music", co-authored with Jennifer Burg and Eric Schwartz, is available in print from Franklin Beedle and online at digitalsoundandmusic.com.
